Wellesley-in-Philadelphia celebrates history at Independence Beer Garden! July 25th, 3:30 - 6:30pm
WiP invites all alumnae in Philadelphia on July 25th to join us to celebrate our 125th anniversary at a moment in history the Founding Fathers never imagined! SMASH!
W-i-P celebrates summer in the city at Independence Beer Garden just steps from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall! This is another historic moment in Philadelphia as we witness a Wellesley alumna become the first woman nominated for President by a major political party.
We hope all local alums and those in town for the DNC will come raise a pint (or a glass of chardonnay) with us to toast the breaking of this highest, hardest glass ceiling! Friends and family welcome.
Register here. $10 cover per person includes cheese steaks, sliders, and other appetizers. Cash Bar with Happy Hour discounts.

About Independence Beer Garden
Well-known Restaurateur Michael Schulson's Independence Beer Garden is an expansive 20,000 square-foot, all-American beer garden overlooking the Liberty Bell and Independence National Historic Park.
Independence Beer Garden's decor' features reclaimed timber, distressed metals, Tivoli lights, and games, creating intimate moments throughout the sprawling space. A menu of American favorites will go well with the 40 taps of regional and domestic craft beers offered.
We've reserved a private, covered area for Wellesley, so we're celebrating rain or shine!
